Exhibition of 4 prominent Chinese artists taking place in several locations in the public domain.
The exhibition is a group show of prominent Chinese artists, commissioned to produce new work for the Liverpool Biennial 2006. Curator: Gu Zhenqing Assistant Curator: Leo Xu
Work 1. Shen Shaomin: 'Hua Biao from China', 2006, Installation The Hua Biao is a 9-meter column carved from marble. It will be installed on the corner of Jamaica Street and New Bird Street.  2. Weng Peijun: 'Triumphal Arch', 2006, Installation A scale replica of a dam in China. It will occupy 55 New Bird Street. The dam has a ‘skin’ of 1,600 hollow eggshells. 3. Peng Yu & Sun Yuan: 'Tomorrow', 2006, Installation Four figures installed in the North West corner of Salthouse Dock.
