I try to express my thoughts and emotions within the human shape using bold and direct brush strokes, while colour corresponds with my mood at that moment." Duško Šibl 2008 Born in Zagreb, Croatia in '51, Duško Šibl has studied in Zagreb and London including the Royal College of Art. Since 1986 he has lived between Zagreb, London and Dubrovnik, where he has studios and has exhibited his work. He has created a series of new paintings specifically for this exhibition. Part of the exhibition will change daily, as he creates new paintings during the development process of Time. Time is a multidisciplinary live art piece produced by Hope Street Limited, that brings Šibl together with Momentum Theatre, film maker Robin Rice and Liverpool band Winterbourne & Blaster. These new works will be inspired by improvised music, movement and film. | Venue Details
