Peter McCaughey is an artist and educator based in Glasgow, who has exhibited and lectured in the UK, Switzerland, Germany, Portugal, Finland, Norway, Belgium Serbia-Montenegro and Australia. He works part-time in the Sculpture and Environmental Art Department of the Glasgow School of Art and is the director of Wave, a small public art organization. At the time of writing Peter has just returned from Artist’s residency at Curtin University, Perth, Australia. He is just completing ‘London’ a short video with David Shrigley and Andy Knowles and is also working with his sisters SLE (Lupus) condition to try and make a visual map of her complex 22-year medical history. Up and coming projects include Loci a permanent public commission for the newly formed village square in Raploch, Stirling and Hazelbank, a commission with Dr Cherié Driver and Roderick Buchanan in Derry, N.Ireland.
