The work references questions about the way worship is practised, including: communal-v-private devotional practice, and conspicuous splendour-v-rejection of material comforts and adornment. ‘Borderland’ utilises the vast architectural height of the Anglican Cathedral as metaphor for the gap between the known (earthly and empirical) and the unknown (spiritual and transcendent). ‘Meniscus’ Using food, text and installation, this work explores the point at which scientific reasoning and spiritual belief diverge. | Venue Details
